rex cratty real estate
The journey from a small-town country boy in rural Pennsylvania to co-managing a 400-million-dollar business unit for a large multi-national energy company in Orange County, CA utilizing the management, sales, marketing, and negotiation skills along with experience which makes me well suited for my next adventure as Real Estate Agent extraordinaire.
My parents moved to California with myself and one of my 5 brothers from Pennsylvania in the late 70’s. We settled in West Covina. I was 13 at the time and extremely excited about living in California but a little sad for leaving my friends behind and all that I knew. I received all my formal education in the West Covina area as I attended junior high, high school and California State Polytechnic University obtaining a business degree with an emphasis in Finance, Real Estate and Law.
I bought my first house when I was working for AT&T Wireless (LA Cellular for you older folks) which was my first job out of college. It was a perfect 1,700 ft. 3-bedroom stucco style two story starter house for our new family. We lived there for a few years with our two young boys and when our baby girl was born, we decided we needed a bit more space. With the help of one the local Real Estate agents here in San Clemente we moved into our current home in 2003.
I have been a resident of San Clemente for 18 years now. I know the neighborhoods well. Throughout the years, I have managed and coached 20+ youth sport teams in football, baseball, and softball for the city of San Clemente, so I have pretty much seen every neighborhood from using the local parks for practice to team parties and even carpooling the young ones around.
Combining my professional expertise and area knowledge along with my proven negotiating skills, I can help you find that perfect home for you and your family. If you are selling, I’ll use my excellent sales and marketing skills to ensure you obtain he best price and maximum exposure.
